The silent, paranoid killer

What I am about to share with you may sound like a zombie apocalypse fairy tale, but I promise that all content is true and with evidence (click on links). Read on...

Earlier this year, a group of people arrived in a Pottsville, Pa., emergency room so agitated, violent and psychotic that medical workers needed to hold them down. Even large doses of sedatives failed to work on the group.

Another man in Pennsylvania broke into a monastery and stabbed a priest. In Indiana, a man climbed a roadside flagpole and jumped into
traffic. And a West Virginia woman scratched herself to pieces over several days because she thought there was something under her skin. More recently, a 21-year-old from Louisiana slit his throat and ended his life with a gunshot.

Sound scary, yet? I'm not finished.
Hospitals everywhere are reporting people coming in with temperatures reaching 107.5 degrees, elevated blood pressure and heart rates, and even muscle break down which leads to kidney failure! Some show up dead on arrival. A doctor in Louisiana explained these events perfectly: "If you take the worst attributes of meth, coke, PCP, LSD and ecstasy and put them together," he said, "that's what we're seeing..."

Just when I thought I've heard of everything, a new trend in the drug community comes out.

BATH SALTS... the silent, paranoid killer
Yes, people... bath salts. No, not your typical "take me away" Calgon variety, but from what I hear, it will take you away. Take you to another place in your psyche, take you to the emergency room, take you to death. You know, choose your poison! Actually, you have no choice of results once you use it.

"Bath salts" or MEPHEDRONE is another product made in an effort to sidestep drug laws. It is labeled as "not for human consumption" and has also been sold as plant food, decorative sand, and a toy cleaner! Mephedrone has never been approved for human consumption, but it IS a growing substance abuse problem.

Brand names for the "meph" (as I like to call it) are Ivory Wave,
Vanilla Sky, Purple Wave, Red Dove, Blue Silk, Zoom, Bloom, Cloud Nine, Scarface, Hurricane Charlie, Ocean Snow, Lunar Wave, and White Lightning. The so-called designer drug is a man-made form of the psychostimulant cathinone and comes from the plant, khat. This plant is an organic stimulant found in Arab and East African countries that is illegal in the United States. Cathinone itself is regulated; however, MDPV and meph are made in a lab and are (so far) not regulated because they aren't marketed for human consumption.

Death, damage, & other scariness
Many have died or have been permanently injured from meph. In fact, 28 states have already banned the sale of meph products, with several more introducing legislation to do so.
The drug causes hallucinations, paranoia, rapid heart rate, suicidal thoughts, etc. And guess what? It is sold in your typical convenience store and online.

For those of you who think you are (or you know someone who thinks they are) invincible and you will never get addicted, let me share this story with you. A 34-year-old woman from New Jersey began using "bath salts" just two weeks ago. She was up all night using bath salts and began running around her neighborhood claiming someone killed her family.

Sadly, this hits closer to home than we realize. I met a young guy just recently who had tried it and said he couldn't feel his LUNGS after he used.

THIS IS SCARY, people. Kids, teens, and adults are using this to fill some void in their life or to not feel at all. The problem is that it's not just getting people high, it's destroying their psyche and their bodies. It's DEADLY! It is highly dangerous!

Let's get out the word on this killer and life void filler! South Carolina, along with several other states, needs to get on the ball with legislation to ban this life-threatening drug.

Love, peace, and freedom,
Jenna J.

  1. While there is no absolute solution for the conditions that cause distrustfulness, treatment can help the individual adapt to their symptoms and live a more joyful, more gainful life. Assist the individual with maintaining a strategic distance from things the person in question fears. Keep lights turned on if the individual discloses to you that this makes that person less scared. Talk about the individual's apprehensions when the individual isn't paranoid, and arrange for dealing with the feelings of trepidation when they occur.
is used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It is sometimes used with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy.
